Crossroads Care - Mid Surrey branch is part of the registered charity Surrey Crossroads and is a member of the National Crossroads Association. Through its local branches Crossroads has been active in Surrey for over 30 years.
The Mid Surrey branch, based in Leatherhead, became an amalgamation of Epsom & Ewell Crossroads and Dorking Crossroads several years ago.

Crossroads Care can offer a Carer Support Worker to look after the person you care for at home, to enable you to have a break.
A regular visit would be for 3 hours, and would be provided on the same day, at the same time each week. We are also able to offer occasional visits on an ad hoc basis, for example, to enable you to attend an appointment or special social event.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer a crisis or emergency service.

| Funding |
Surrey Crossroads receives part of its funding from the National Carers Grant, which is paid to local authorities to provide support to carers in the community. We also receive some funding from the Surrey Primary Care Trust.
These two grants enable us to provide many hours of respite care in the home, although they are insufficient to meet the growing need for support for carers. We also rely heavily on donations and other fundraising activities to enable us to provide more care hours.
